OUR APPROACH TO CARE
At Small Town Wellness, physiotherapy in Midland isn’t just about reducing pain — it’s about restoring strength, confidence, and real-world function.
Kyle takes an active, movement-based approach to rehabilitation. Treatment begins with a thorough assessment and evolves into a progressive plan designed to carry you from initial injury through full return to sport, work, or daily life.
Your individualized care plan may include:
Manual Therapy to restore joint mobility and reduce pain
Dry Needling (IMS) and Acupuncture for muscle tension and pain relief
Therapeutic Exercise to rebuild strength, stability, and resilience
Concussion Rehabilitation for safe return to activity
GLA:D programming for hip and knee osteoarthritis
BoneFit programming for osteoporosis and bone health
Electrotherapy (TENS, NMES) and therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and moist heat when appropriate
Our goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you understand your body, prevent future injury, and return to the activities that matter most to you. By combining modern physiotherapy techniques with a supportive, community-focused environment, we help patients throughout Midland and Simcoe County move forward with confidence.
But what truly sets Small Town Wellness apart in Midland and Simcoe County is what happens after the table.
A GYM BUILT FOR REAL RECOVERY
We are one of the only physiotherapy clinics in the Midland area equipped with a full training gym — including a cage, dumbbells, Olympic weights, and a shuttle leg press — allowing rehabilitation to progress beyond basic exercises.
This means your rehab matches the demands of your real life.
Instead of stopping when pain decreases, we continue building strength, power, and durability so you can confidently return to hockey, running, golf, work, or whatever keeps you moving.
Bridging the Gap Between Rehab and Maintenance
Many patients become pain-free but are unsure what comes next. Small Town Wellness was built to bridge that gap.
Once symptoms improve, your program can transition into structured strength and maintenance work within the clinic’s training space. This ensures you don’t just recover — you stay strong. Our goal is long-term resilience, not temporary relief.
Proudly serving Midland and Simcoe County, we provide physiotherapy designed for active adults, athletes, and anyone motivated to move better.
